Prior to treatment with JUVÉDERM®, Dr. Roberts recommends avoiding blood thinners (Motrin, Aspirin, Fish oil, Vitamin E etc.) for up to 14 days before the procedure to minimize the chance of bruising. (see our patient education section for a complete listing of blood thinners).
Dr. Roberts also instructs her patients to avoid dental work or deep dental cleaning two weeks before and after all filler injections.
