Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology
at the USC Keck School of Medicine
Dr. Roberts opened her private practice in 2001. Her goal was to maintain a good work/life balance and she was able to do so by running her practice with a great team of staff. At this session, she will discuss ways to effectively communicate with colleagues and employees. She will also talk about her experience in managing her own practice.

Dr. Roberts received her degree with highest honors in biochemistry from Rutgers University, medical doctorate from University of California, Irvine, and dual residency training at UCLA in Internal Medicine with USC Medical Center in Dermatology. Having been nationally recognized as Board Certified Dermatologist and laser surgeon with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Roberts specializes in both acne and anti-aging. In addition, Dr. Roberts is a professor of Dermatology teaching both laser surgery and dermatologic surgery techniques at USC Keck school and a national consultant for Allergan, makers of Botox Cosmetic.

Women in Management (WIM) was formed in 1979 in response to the need for an organization for women in leadership positions at USC, and to address the issues of increased representation of women in responsible positions, equal pay for men and women holding similar positions, and the provision of a forum in which women could develop leadership skills. The purpose of the organization remains toprovide a forum for communication, professional development, and career opportunities for women at USC.
